Refurbished Clubhouse Now Open!!
Having survived a challenging four years post the Christmas 2013 storms without a clubhouse, after much hard work from the committee and volunteers, we are proud to have our pavilion refurbished and back in use. Check out The Chalfont Sports Club Facebook Page for What's On at the Club and to hire our brand new Event Space.

WIth such a large outlay, funds for updating
equipment both on and off the field are still urgent.  If you are able to donate anything to the club that you feel maybe of use please contact Jerry.  Alternatively, if you are able to make a donation to our fundraising page - please visit our Virgin Money Giving Page

U6 - U15 Coaching sessions will run until state school end of Summer term

Junior coaching has ended for 2018. Watch this space for news of our 2019 schedule.

JUNIOR REGISTRATION: Just come down and register on the first day of coaching- we are keen to see players back with us from previous years and why not bring your friends as new members are very welcome.  Please bring your subs (U8s to U15s: £95 for the first child and £85 for siblings. U7s and below: £50) and completed registration form CPSA membership_renewal_form_AMENDED 2018-19 with you to your first session.

COACHING SESSIONS: See Timetable for your age-group. We are working with Future Legends ECB qualified coaches again this year. http://www.futurelegends.me.uk/
Parents are encouraged to support the coaching sessions.

MATCHES: We play Bucks Junior League matches from U9s to U15s, through May and June and until mid-July at 6pm on weekday evenings and 10am on weekend mornings.  Games cannot go ahead without the assistance of parents to help manage selection and travel in advance of matches and on the day to help organise things such as the team batting order, padding up, umpiring, scoring and refreshments. Please consider becoming an assistant manager to the team managers, we will run a training session for those that need a bit of extra confidence.

Parents will need to use their website username and password to enter their children's dates of availability for matches.  Children who haven't made themselves available will not be selected. A list of team managers and their contact details for each team is available on the website

Please assume matches and coaching sessions will be ON unless specified here on the website, where an update will be posted. We play on through light rain and drizzle as you can see here https://youtu.be/0_3K4k8U3qM

KIT: For Coaching sessions, children should come in sports kit and trainers and bring a cricket bat if they have it. For Matches, they will need whites.  Whilst the club will provide a kit bag for each team, you are welcome to use your own equipment.  Here is a useful age/height sizing guide for bats, pads, gloves and helmets

Need Help Registering on the Website or Forgotten your Username & Password?

Registering for the Members section of the website is imperative if you are a senior or junior player as it provides you access to enter your or your children's availability for the season.

This is the only way of making yourself available for selection by the captains/managers of the teams.

If you have forgotten your username and password click the forgotten password prompt by the Login at the top left of the homepage to be sent a reminder of both

If you need to register for the first time  please contact Lloyd Marsden.

There are easy ways to join:

BOYS and GIRLS: Come along to the coaching night for your age group with your registration form and payment and join right away.

MEN and WOMEN: Please call Murray on 07739 089676 to join. Men's training runs on Thursday evenings from 6, so come on down.

Who we are

Chalfont St Peter Cricket Club is a sociable, village club dating back to the middle of the nineteenth century. We play our home matches at Chalfont Park in Buckinghamshire, first created by the celebrated landscape architect "Capability Brown" in 1760 and one of the most picturesque venues for cricket in the country. The ground is situated next to Gerrards Cross Golf Club just off the A413, on the eastern outskirts of the village (follow the brown golf club signs).

Check out our Facebook, Twitter and YouTube sites for updates, pictures and videos.

Junior Coaching Starts end April:

Coaching sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday nights from late April onwards. Our ECB-qualified coaches are all DBS/CRB cleared and we offer a safe, supportive and challenging environment in which our juniors can develop.

Juniors & Academy Matches

Our thriving Junior section has ten teams which compete in the Bucks Cricket Board League & Cup T20 competitions from U9 to U17 running from late April until mid-July. The Academy side plays Sunday afternoon friendly cricket against adult teams with the aim of preparing our older juniors for Saturday league cricket.

Adult Matches:
On Saturdays we field two XIs in the Thames Valley Cricket League; the 1st XI playing in Division 5 and the 2nd XI in Division 7.  We also run two Sunday XIs, an Academy XI (see above) and a Social XI.  Matches are held from mid-April until early September, with training on Thursday evenings.
